Amongst its trees, shrubs and herbs, something particularly wonderful lies within Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens. 1670 gin emerged from a treasure trove of over 14,000 plants that are grown in the gardens. Edinburgh Gin head distiller and the Gardens’ chief botanist have worked together to produce something truly extraordinary.
Tasmania Lanceolata leaf, Piper leaf and Tasmanian Mountain Pepper to name but a few. Edinburgh Gin 1670 is incredibly fragrant and floral and is delicious served long with Elderflower presse.
